During the late summer and the beginning of the fall of 2014 the artist Trinidad Carrillo began portraying a group of Palestinians at Järntorget in Gothenburg. They were hunger striking for the right to stay in Sweden and to not be sent back to Palestine. They went on strike for the right to a life with rights that we take for granted.
Carrillo depicts them in this vulnerable situation in a sensitive and respectful way. In her images the individuals emerge with their dreams, fears and personal stories.
